JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Researchers have tagged and released a 2,000 pound great white shark reeled-in off the Jacksonville coast Sunday.
While tagging the shark, which they named “Lydia,” scientists from the group OCEARCH took blood and tissue samples.
She is now tagged with a GPS device that allows researchers to track her movement.
