Bus Stop Sex Assault Suspect Sought in Colton

COLTON, Calif. (KTLA) — Police in Colton are looking for a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman after following her from a bus stop.

colton-picIt happened at about 9:35 p.m. on Feb. 27 in the 700 block of East “M” Street.

The victim told police that she was sexually assaulted by a Hispanic male adult she had just met earlier while waiting at a bus stop.

The suspect followed the victim as she waled to a friend’s house and sexually assaulted her behind some shrubs, according to police.

The woman had never met the suspect until the night of the attack.

He is described as being 5’7″-5’10” tall, with a thin build and acne scars on both of his cheeks.

The suspect also has two scars on his abdomen. He was last seen wearing a gray zip-up hoodie, gray sweatpants and dark boots.

He may use the name “Tony,” and possibly lives in Colton.
