A man attempting to rob a Dunkin’ Donuts on First Avenue fled after a clerk threw hot coffee in his face, police said.
The robbery attempt took place Saturday around 11:06 p.m.
The suspect went through the drive-thru and asked a clerk to change a $100 bill, police said.
The clerk refused, and the suspect said he was robbing the business.
He attempted to climb through the window but fled when the clerk threw hot coffee in his face, police said.
