A woman in Colorado is facing identity theft charges tonight — and she only has herself to blame.
She handed a stolen driver’s license — to the woman she allegedly stole it from.
Back in February, waitress Brianna Priddy had her wallet lifted while working at a Denver Applebee’s.
Imagine her surprise when last Monday, she was taking a drink order when the customer handed over — Brianna’s own drivers license.
Amazingly, she was able to keep her cool while authorities were notified.
The suspect is 26 years old, so she could have used her real ID to buy the margarita she ordered.
She was allegedly using the license to write bad checks.
She’s facing identity theft charges, in addition to drug charges related to a separate investigation.

A pity that this victim of identity theft was identified in this article while the perp goes anonymous…

Yeah, but they go out of their way to use the words "suspect" and allegedly".
