Police Look to Public for Help in Catching Burglars

SAN PEDRO, Calif. (KTLA) — Police turned to the Public’s help Saturday in solving a pair of break-ins in the San Pedro area.

One of the burglaries happened at a Wiener-Schnitzel restaurant on January 26. Surveillance video caught a young male suspect tossing a rock through the store window and attempting to raid the cash drawer.

Police say he came up empty-handed.

The second was a residential burglary back in November of last year.

Police say the suspects, who appear to be three young males, broke into a home and stole a television, two laptops, and jewelry worth more than $6,000.

Authorities did not say if the two crimes were suspected of being related.
