LANCASTER, Calif. (KTLA) — A father delivered his newborn son Sunday while on the way to Antelope Valley Hospital.
Baby Noah was delivered around 11 p.m. near the intersection of 15th Street East and Avenue M near Lancaster.
Deputies say Mom’s water broke on the way to Antelope Valley Hospital.
Afraid they wouldn’t make it in time, Dad pulled over and took matters into his own hands.
An Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher helped walk Dad through the delivery.
Minutes after baby Noah was born, deputies and emergency responders arrived on scene.
They transported Mom and baby to the hospital. Both are doing fine.
