EXPOSITION PARK (KTLA) — USC suspended two basketball players on Monday after reports that they were involved in a brawl in Washington state.
James Blasczyk and Dewayne Dedmon have been suspended indefinitely for their alleged role in a fight that happened Sunday morning in Spokane, where the team was spending the night.
Blasczyk and Dedmon will be barred from “all team activities because of a violation of a team rule,” Coach Bob Cantu said in a statement.
USC had played Saturday afternoon in nearby Pullman, Washington, losing to Washington State 76-51.
A witness said the players started the fight, which allegedly escalated into a brawl involving over 20 people.
Authorities said they are investigating the incident, but no one has been arrested in connection with the fight.
