COSTA MESA, Calif. (KTLA) — A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after he allegedly brought a pot brownie to school and shared it with classmates.
Police say the boy is a sixth-grader at Pomona Elementary School in Costa Mesa.
He was not identified because of his age.
He was taken into custody at his home on Thursday on a misdemeanor charge of possessing marijuana on campus. He was then released to a parent.
According to police, school administrators found a small bag of pot in the boy’s backpack.
The boy and six other students were sickened and on Tuesday after taking bites of the pot brownie.
One student reported feeling nauseous and dizzy at recess, and another told teachers that a pastry that may have had drugs in it had been shared.
All seven students were taken by ambulance to Hoag Hospital. All are now doing well, the school’s principal said.
Officials said that the boy has not revealed where he got brownie.

Fair enough, but you still wouldn't be in any toxic danger like if you got ahold of many prescription,or even over-the-counter drugs.
