SAN BERNARDINO (KTLA) — A 57-year-old grandfather was shot and killed while walking home on Saturday night.
Deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Garden Drive in an unincorporated area of San Bernardino at around 7:53 p.m.
Manuel Bustos had gone to check on his son, who was attending a party next door, when he was shot in the chest.
The victim died after being transferred to a local hospital. He had been suffering from liver disease.
“I want to seek justice,” wife Ofelia Bustos said, adding her husband didn’t have enemies.
The family is holding a vigil on Sunday night.
