FULLERTON, Calif. (KTLA) — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a Fullerton police officer during a traffic stop.
The shooting happened around 12:13 a.m. Sunday after the officer pulled over a vehicle near Woods and Knepp avenues.
As the officer approached the vehicle, a dark-colored Pontiac Grand Prix, the driver fired a handgun, striking the officer multiple times.
He was wearing a bulletproof vest and managed to return fire.
