PANORAMA CITY, Calif. (KTLA) — Police are searching for the gunmen in two unrelated shootings that happened in Panorama City.
In one of the incidents, a man was inside his red Lexus at a strip mall on Roscoe Boulevard when an argument broke out with at least two people, according to police.
They say a suspect fired multiple shots at the victim through his driver’s side window.
The victim, a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, was taken to the hospital by paramedics, where he died.
Officers say it’s unrelated, but just down the road on Parthenia Street, a 35-year-old man was gunned down while walking just east of Cedros Avenue.
The suspect in that shooting is also on the loose.
“It’s kind of a shocker that I hear this, I haven’t heard this in a while,” said area resident Oscar Giron.
Anyone with information is asked to call police. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can call the Crime Stoppers line at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
