STUDIO CITY (KTLA) — Re-striping begins on a section of Coldwater Canyon Wednesday morning in preparation for a much-needed water pipe repair.
The planned road closures on the major artery, which connects the San Fernando Valley to the Westside, have motorists fearing the worst.
The re-striping, which will adjust lanes ahead of the big closure, begins around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Coldwater will be reduced from four lanes to two, and you will also not be able to make a left-hand turn onto Ventura Boulevard.
From March 23 to about April 26, Coldwater Canyon will be closed from Ventura Boulevard to Mulholland Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
