Two Teenage Boys Arrested in Baby Shooting Death

BRUNSWICK, Ga (KTLA) — A 13-month-old boy was shot to death in his stroller by alleged assailants who are still children themselves.

Authorities on Friday arrested two teenagers, one as young as 14, in the shooting death of Antonio West, who was killed as his mother pushed him in a stroller.

Demarquis Elkins, 17, and a 14-year-old unidentified juvenile are both charged with first-degree murder.

The chbaby-shot-faceild’s mother said the suspects approached her on a Thursday morning stroll with her son and demanded money.

Sherry West, 41, said she told them she had none and the boys opened fire, killing her son and wounding her in the leg.

“I put my arms over my baby and he shoves me, and then he shot my baby right in the head,” West told WAWS-TV.

Police spokesman Todd Rhodes gave few details about the investigation Friday, but said no weapon has been found.

Poor child. Sorry for the family.
No words to describe the contempt for the killers. Arrest their parents too. S-C-U-M.

This is beyond sad. It's inhumane. These two animals should be shot.
