Allie Mac Kay was live from Krochet Kids International HQ in Costa Mesa to show us their handmade products made by women in Uganda and Peru and how to thank the lady who made it.
Krochet Kids Int’l. works with women in impoverished communities in Uganda and Peru to create sustainable change and empowerment through the production of apparel and accessories. They have developed a truly innovative approach to poverty alleviation through job creation and education. While each program is tailored to suit the needs in their respective communities, their goal remains the same in that they are empowering people to rise above poverty. Their products are made in both Uganda and Peru, and are each individually signed by the person who made it. Know who you are helping by visiting www.krochetkids.org
