Gayle Anderson was live in Culver City with a preview of “Safety Seat Checkup Week” next week. According to SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A., around 90% of carseats that are brought in for check ups need to be corrected.
SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. has partnered with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A, the California Office of Traffic Safety, the Pomona Police Department and the Peace Officers Association of Los Angeles County to provide free car seat checks at the Petersen Automotive Museum on Saturday, April 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Although the event is FREE, SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. asks that you make an appointment by calling (800) 745-SAFE. If you do not have an appointment, there may be a wait of more than one hour or you may be turned away. For more information, please visit www.carseat.org.
There will be a welcome ceremony and recognition of notable guests at 11:30 a.m. Participants of the “Safety Seat Checkup” can meet Bucklebear and his friends. In addition, Petersen Museum discount coupons are available for families participating in the checkup.
