WILMINGTON, Calif. (KTLA) — Police are searching for suspects after two to three molotov cocktails were thrown at a home in Wilmington.
LAPD Harbor Division officers and firefighters responded about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday to the 1500 block of East Cruces Street.
The flammable devices burned the garage door of a home, but fortunately, no one was hurt.
“There was some damage to the garage door and also to a vehicle in the driveway,” said LAPD Lt. Eric Holyfield.
“There were no apparent injuries. We’re very thankful for that because there were some people sleeping there in the garage,” he said.
Police are investigating a possible motive in the incident.
