Unusual RedBall Project Arrives in L.A.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KTLA) — The RedBall project has arrived in California and may be one of the more unusual art exhibits to come to town in a while.

Artist Kurt Perschke describes the exhibit as global street art.

The 250-pound giant red ball has been traveling the world for about 10 years.

The project is making its first ever stop in California.

The 10 day visit began April 1 and will include stops Wednesday at Hollywood and Cahuenga and Thursday in Pershing Square.

The ball was seen on Main Street in Santa Monica Tuesday.
