NEW YORK (KTLA) — Actress Lindsay Lohan stepped into the hot seat Tuesday night, getting grilled by David Letterman on the “Late Show.”
The 26-year-old discussed her latest projects, including “Scary Movie 5” and her recent appearance on “Anger Management.”
But things got a little tense when Letterman brought up her next chapter — rehab.
“Aren’t you supposed to be in rehab?” Letterman asked.
“Do you not watch anything that goes on? What are you a tabloid now?… May 2nd,” Lohan replied.
Letterman pressed further, asking Lohan how many times she has been in rehab (“Several.”) and how this time will be different.
“What are they rehabbing, first of all?” he asked. “What is on their list? What are they going to work on when you walk through the door?”
“We didn’t discuss this in the pre-interview,” Lohan replied.
Letterman asked Lohan is she drinks too much, and she said that, “We’ve discussed this in the past.”
“I’m the one who’s having the blackouts. I ought to be in rehab… for the love of God!” Letterman joked.
She said that she looks at rehab as a lifesaver, and a career saver. Lohan went on to say she’s happiest and healthiest when she’s working.
