Two-Alarm Fire Destroys Home in Placentia
PLACENTIA, Calif. (KTLA) — A fire destroyed a home and damaged two other structures in Placentia early Friday.
The two-alarm blaze began just before 1:30 a.m at a home in the 300 block of West Santa Fe Avenue.
It quickly spread to Mi Casita Mexican Restaurant, as well as a second home.
About 60 firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority and the Anaheim and Fullerton fire departments battled the blaze for more than an hour.
The home where the fire started was destroyed. The other structures had exterior damage.
No injuries were reported. A Placentia police officer helped evacuate the residents of the neighboring house.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
