Check out the recently refurbished 1938 Inkie’s Scrambler, the 12 car fast paced swirling ride that takes guests on a series of more than eleven revolutions per minute. The restored ride sports a shiny new chrome finish, period decals, and detailed lighting.

It’s a local landmark! The Pacific Park Ferris Wheel, the world’s only solar powered ferris wheel.
Travel + Leisure magazine has selected the Santa Monica icon as one of the “World’s Coolest Ferris Wheels.”
The energy efficient ferris wheel joins famous ferris wheels in New York, Tokyo, Vienna, London, Paris, and Las Vegas for it coolness.

Otis’ Second Annual Kite Festival

While you’re in Santa Monica look up and enjoy the kite performance of Melanie Walker and George Peters at the Otis Second Annual Kite Festival. Otis College of Design is responsible for the colorful, high flying display of world renown kite maker Tom Van Sant. The festival is free. Parking costs eight-dollars.
