Human Skull Found in Antelope Valley Desert – Lynette Romero Reports

QUARTZ HILL, Calif. (KTLA) — Sheriff’s homicide detectives are continuing their investigation after a human skull was discovered in Quartz Hill.

The skull was found by a local resident’s dog around 4 p.m. Sunday near the 6200 block of West Avenue N.

Authorities said it did not appear the skull had been out in the desert very long.

Sheriff’s homicide investigators, along with L.A. County coroner’s investigators, will return to the area on Monday to search for clues.

They were also going through local missing persons cases to look for possible connections.
