Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect Moved to Prison Hospital — Glen Walker Reports

Too close for comfort for some of the bombing victims, 19 year old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was transferred to Federal Medical Center Devens a prison hospital 40 miles from Boston.

Meantime, the Tsarnaev’s carjack victim who asked to be called “Danny” told his story to Boston Globe reporter Eric Moskowitz.

“If it had been maybe almost anyone, any of us, or little different twist here or there, Danny wouldn’t have survived, the brother might have gone to New York,” said Eric Moskowitz, reporter, Boston Globe.

Officials say the Tsarniev’s had a hastily hatched plan to bomb Times Square.  When they needed gas, Danny took a chance and escaped.

“It’s really a perfect place–between the car and the gas pumps and if Tamerlan is going to shoot him, he would have to go thru the window, an impossible shot,” said Eric Moskowitz, reporter, Boston Globe.

Danny’s story focused on the manhunt ending with Tamerlan’s death, and Dzhokhar’s capture in  a boat.

Meantime, investigators are anaylyzing two and half years of tweets from Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s twitter account.

Religion appears to have been of growing importance.

On people thinking he had converted,  the younger Tsarniev tweeted:

“Brothers at the mosque either think I’m a convert, or that I’m from Algeria or Syria.”

On another occasion he shares:
“spent the day with this Jamaican Muslim convert. My religion is truth.”

A full year before the bombing he writes in Russian:
“I will die young.”

And last august:
“Boston marathon isn’t good place to smoke.”

In January;
“I got those brothers that I’d take a bullet for, in the leg or the shoulder or something. Not fatal tho.”

Finally a week before the attack:
“If you have the knowledge and the inspiration, all that’s left is to take action.”

Also in Boston, more signs of healing:

The new Boston magazine cover shows 120 pairs of shoes, each worn in the marathon, now immortalized as part of “the city’s heart”.
