Structures, Vehicles Destroyed in Jurupa Valley Brush Fire – Chris Burrous Reports

JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. (KTLA) — A vegetation fire that began at Van Buren Blvd. and Jurupa Road has burned two homes and several other structures Thursday.

Riverside County Firefighters responded to the so-called Van Buren fire at about 8:30 a.m.

Two residential homes, five out-buildings, 10 vehicles and a boat were involved in the fire, according to officials.

The fire has reportedly scorched 5-acres and is 50-percent contained.

Van Buren Elementary has been evacuated.
