Dance Party Raises Money for Women’s Cancer Program

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (KTLA) — Celebrities joined doctors and patients Saturday night in Beverly Hills at a party to raise money to fight ovarian cancer.

Actresses Radha Mitchell and Jennifer Coolidge were just a few of the celebrities who danced alongside cancer survivors at the glitzy gathering.

The dance was organized to support women suffering from ovarian cancer.

Money raised from the event will directly benefit the Cedars Sinai Women’s Cancer Program.

Ovarian cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the ovaries. It often goes undetected until it has spread within the pelvis and abdomen, according to medical experts.

Once the disease spreads, it is difficult to treat and is often fatal.
