Middle School Evacuated After Bomb Threat in Pomona
POMONA, Calif. (KTLA) — A middle school in Pomona was evacuated by police after a bomb threat was phoned in Monday.
425 students at Palomares Academy in the 2200 block of Orange Grove Drive were transported about a block away to the campus of Pomona High School after the threat was received at 9:15 a.m., police said.
Parents were asked to pick up their students at the high school, not the Palomares campus, while the bomb threat was under investigation.
Adults needed to show an emergency contact card and photo ID before students would be released, officials said.
