HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. (KTLA) — Police hoped surveillance video would help find two people wanted for attempted murder at a Hacienda Heights In-N-Out.
The video of the suspects was taken at an In-N-Out restaurant near the 60 Freeway last month, authorities said.
The victim, 19-year-old Temituoyo Oroye, was reportedly in the restaurant parking lot waiting for his friends when a man approached him and asked his gang affiliation.
When the victim denied being in a gang, the man stabbed him anyway, sheriff’s gang detectives said.
“I feel more thankful and blessed to be here,” Oroye said. “It could have been way worse.”
The man took off in a getaway car driven by a woman who was wearing nurse scrubs, detectives said.
The vehicle was described as a silver of gray 2000 or 2005 Kia Sorrento.
The woman may have a tattoo on her right wrist, while the man has a tattoo on his neck, according to police.
Anyone with information was asked to call L.A. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
