CENTURY CITY, Calif. (KTLA) — Firefighters rescued two workers who became trapped in scaffolding on a Century City highrise on Thursday.

A mechanical problem left the workers stuck 26 floors above the ground outside the building in the 10100 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

Firefighters attached secondary lines to the scaffolding and hoisted the workers, one at a time, to the roof of the building.

Both workers were slightly rattled, but they were physically okay, authorities said.
