Fundraiser Held for Girl Critically Injured in Hit and Run
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KTLA) — A 5-year-old girl, who spent two weeks in a coma following a hit and run crash, appears to be on the mend.
Carlie Rodriguez was taken out of ICU, but still has a long road to recovery ahead of her.
Carlie isn’t able to speak yet.
She is also forced to wear and neck brace and is in a lot of pain, her parents said.
A fundraiser to pay for her mounting medical expenses was held Friday at Adams Motorsports.
An account has also been set if you’d like to help.
Contributions may be directed to the Carlie Rodriquez Fund at all Altura Credit Unions in Riverside County locations or by phone at 888-883-7228.
