Hundreds of digitally preserved speeches, sermons and correspondence of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are on view at the California African American Museum to showcase the work of the civil rights leader. This is the last day to see this unprecedented documents.

JPMorgan Chase and The King Center in Atlanta, a team of more than 300, including U.S. veterans and students, have prepared more than 200,000 documents, including Dr. King’s I Have a Dream speech, the Letter from Birmingham Jail and his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech. Those documents are now travelling around the country, in an interactive display called The King Center Imaging Project.

And, this is the last weekend to seen this! The Flower Fields of Carlsbad are in full bloom. These spectacular colors on the rolling hills of North San Diego County will only last through Mother’s Day weekend. The nearly fifty acres of Ranunculus flowers will begin to fade after this weekend and will slowly disappear until next spring.
