RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. (KTLA) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck the South Bay around 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake was centered six miles south of Rancho Palos Verdes and seven miles southwest of San Pedro.
It was felt south to Huntington Beach and north to Playa del Rey, according to the USGS.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries due to the quake.
The USGS initially reported the temblor was a magnitude-3.9.
