LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – A dead Macaque primate was among several odd discoveries at LAX the past four days, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials announced Monday.
The prohibited Macaque from Indonesia was declared as a gift and addressed to North Port, Florida when it was seized by agents.
On May 9, nearly half a pound of elephant meat from a protected wildlife species from Thailand and destined to Fresno was intercepted.
Officials also discovered 387 illegal snake, lizard and crocodile skin handbags from a passenger who arrived from Nigera at LAX May 6.
All seized items were turned over to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Hope the people who deal in these types of deeds get trampled by an elephant or attacked by wild monkeys.
