Rescued OC Hiker in Court on Drug Charges – Chip Yost Reports
SANTA ANA, Calif. (KTLA) — A hiker rescued from Trabuco Canyon after days lost in the wilderness was in court Wednesday to face drug charges.
But that wasn’t the only issue facing 19-year-old Nic Cendoya.
One of the volunteers who helped search for Cendova and hiking companion, Kyndall Jack, 18, was seriously injured in a fall.
Nick Papageorge told reporters his medical bills could reach $350,000, and he wants compensation.
