GRANADA HILLS, Calif. (KTLA) — It’s an achievement not many people can claim, but one Granada Hills teen can now say she’s had perfect attendance since pre-school.
Angie Armento, 18, was awarded with a “perfect attendance” honor a Kennedy High School on Wednesday night.
She earned the award after going to school every single day for 14 years, never once staying home sick.
While Armento says she is proud of her achievement, other students have not always been so kind.
“I did get bullied becasue I’m always with my parents, I’m an only child and I don’t have a boyfriend and all this stuff,” she said. “But I don’t care. It’s my life.”
Armento will be attending Cal Poly Pomona in the fall. She says that she wants to become a veterinarian.
