PORTER RANCH, Calif. (KTLA) – Residents in one Porter Ranch neighborhood were being extra vigilant Saturday after coyotes snatched and killed two dogs.

The coyote attacks happened outside of separate homes in the 11000 block of Dunnicliffe Court.

“This was my first puppy.  It gotten eaten by the coyote,” 11-year-old Andro Mammo told KTLA 5, as he held up a picture of his beloved pet.

Coyotes were known to frequently venture into the neighborhood from a nearby park, according area residents.

In the last year alone, more than eight family pets disappeared from the area.

Common sense tells you that if you live in an area that has coyotes, you do not leave your pets outside.
Your stupidity is the cause of the loss of your pet not the coyote. You are in their territory and want to complain? Gimme a break
