MARINA DEL REY, Calif. (KTLA) — Sheriff’s deputies responded to a rowdy party in Marina Del Rey on Sunday that included more than 200 people, police said.
The party was held at an area known as Mother’s Beach, a lagoon in the marina.
It reportedly started with an invitation sent via Twitter for a “blankets and bottles” party.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department lined up in formation in riot gear.
They were able to get the party under control in about an hour. The crowd was not violent and no arrests were made, authorities said.
