Police Investigate Anti-Gay Hate Crime in South L.A.
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Police on Monday were investigating a hate crime that took place in South Los Angeles over the weekend.
A 28-year-old man found his vehicle vandalized with the word “gay” etched on its sides and roof, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department,
The vehicle’s windows were smashed out and its tires were flattened.
The incident happened on Sunday morning in the 2100 block of West 108th Street in unincorporated Los Angeles.
The vehicle was parked outside the victim’s house when the incident occurred.
