TUSTIN, Calif. (KTLA) — A local family was asking for the public’s help on Monday finding their dog, after she was stolen out of their front yard.

Surveillance video from cameras set up around the house captured the crime.

In the video, a woman parks her car, runs across the street and grabs the family dog, a 5-pound Maltese-Poodle mix named Bubba Lulu.

She then gets back into her car with the dog under her arm and drives away.

“Apparently, this lady took about three minutes to grab her and take her, as you can see on the video,” said owner Sergio Camacho.

“I don’t know who would do something like that, it’s just heartbreaking,” owner Fabiana Ramirez said.

Her daughter Amanda, 7, who has had Bubba from the time she could walk, was devastated, she said.

The family was offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of Bubba Lulu, with no questions asked.

“All we want is our dog back, that’s all we want,” Camacho said. “Just have some heart.”

Anyone with information was asked to contact the family at ramirezfabiana@hotmail.com.
