The 4th annual Farrell’s Splendiferously Superific Summer Spectacular Ice Cream Eating Challenge, benefiting CHOC Children’s® and Make-A-Wish®, is here and it’s as great of an event as it is a mouthful to say! Now is your chance to shine like the ooey gooey whipped cream and sprinkle covered star you are. Pit your wits and ice cream eating talents against your fellow man (and ice cream) in a heart pounding culinary contest to see who will become Farrell’s 2013 World’s Fastest and Best Ice Cream Eaters!

Trying to qualify is fun and delicious. Come into a participating Farrell’s location anytime between June 21 and July 14 and tell them you’d like to try to qualify. You’ll then receive your qualifying sundae that you’ll eat as fast as you can while being timed. The eight fastest in each category will be invited back to compete in the July 21 Championship Main Event at Farrell’s in Brea, CA.

Everyone that tries to qualify gets a scooper-cool, limited edition Ice Cream Challenge shirt and a coupon good for $5 off your next visit to Farrell’s.

We’ve got categories for Lightweights (amateurs) or Heavyweights (pros and big eaters), individuals or teams for ages 1 to 111. Winners in each category will walk away with a trophy as big as their head, a whole year of free Farrell’s ice cream, bragging rights and possibly part of $600 in prize money!
