LOS ANGELES — A portion of the northbound 110 Freeway was shut down in South Los Angeles Tuesday for an investigation into a shooting that left one person hospitalized.
The shooting was reported around 12:30 p.m. on the northbound 110 Freeway near Florence Avenue, according to the LAPD.
The driver who had been shot managed to exit the freeway near Florence Avenue.
That person was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition, police said.
Officials closed all northbound lanes between the 105 Freeway and Florence Avenue while they searched for evidence.
There was no immediate word on what may have led to the shooting.
All lanes of the 110 Freeway were reopened around 2 p.m.
