Multiple-Vehicle Crash Brings I-10 to a Standstill
BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (KTLA) — A crash involving multiple vehicles, including a motorcycle, occurred about 7 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 10 in Baldwin Park.
Los Angeles County firefighters gave medical assistance to the victims of the chain-reaction crash, including a man who was knocked off of the motorcycle he was riding. A firefighter and a California Highway Patrol officer later righted the motorcycle and pushed it to the emergency lane.
With only one lane open on the westbound side of the freeway, traffic was backed up from Puente Avenue to Kellogg Hill as emergency responders treated the victims and worked to remove debris caused by the accident.
All four lanes were later reopened to traffic.
