Keep the kids curious and busy this summer. Let them learn beach volleyball from the best in the business! Legendary beach volleyball players, Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos have created Beach Volleyball Camps to give young players of all ability levels the opportunity to learn and play the sport in a fun and safe environment. Camps are offered at the finest beaches throughout Southern California from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Prices range from 35-dollars up.


Two FREE Bowling Games for Kids Every Day
All Summer-long

Young bowling aficionados can enjoy two FREE games of bowling every day during the summer thanks to, a program designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for youngsters to learn the sport. Kids Bowl Free started in 2008 with just 75 bowling centers across the country. This summer, expects to serve more than 2 million children in 48 states and every province of Canada at more than 1200 centers.  

Parents or guardians should register online at  Age restrictions vary according to participating centers. All participants MUST wear bowling shoes. Rentals are not free. Free games are based on lane availability.

Saturday’s exhibit opening begins with a V-Twin Cruise-in from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Anyone who rides a motorcycle to the Petersen will receive FREE parking and two-for-one admission to the museum. Motorcycle customizer Arlen Ness will sign autographs at 11:00 a.m.

Register for one of the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD),which is offering residents living within its four county jurisdiction, the chance to exchange their old, working, gas lawn mower and purchase a cordless, rechargeable, electric lawn mower at a greatly reduced price.

To participate in the Anaheim exchange, the last exchange of 2013, residents in participating cities in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County and San Bernardino County must register in advance online at or by calling 1(888) 425-6247. Registration is now open!
