Cory Monteith Had Multiple Projects in Production at Time of Death
VANCOUVER, B.C. (KTLA) – “Glee” star Cory Monteith had three projects in post-production at the time of his death, according to the Internet Movie Database.
One was a video entitled “Glee Live! at Radio City Music Hall.”
The other two were films, including “All The Wrong Reasons,” which co-starred Kevin Zegers.
“I’ve never lost a friend this close. This feels like a mistake,” Zegers wrote on Twitter.
He followed it up with “My heart is broken.”
Monteith, best known for his portrayal of Finn Hudson in the television series “Glee,” was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room, police said late Saturday.
He was 31-years-old.
Police received a call from an ambulance service about noon Saturday “regarding a sudden death” at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel, acting Vancouver police Chief Dough LePard said at a news conference late Saturday.
Officers responded within minutes and were advised by paramedics that Monteith was dead.
Monteith was dating his co-star Lea Michele. A publicist for the actress released a statement Sunday asking “that everyone kindly respect Lea’s privacy during this devastating time.”
Monteith’s cause of death was not yet known, police said. But they ruled out foul play.
Medical examiners planned to conduct an autopsy on Monday.
The actor checked into rehab for substance abuse earlier this year.
