Before joining the Granite Mountain Hotshots, Woyjeck was a member of L.A. County Fire’s Explorer Post 9.
Hundreds of firefighters from L.A. County Fire and other agencies attended the service.
L.A. County sheriff’s deputies also held a 24-hour vigil starting Monday morning at Fire Station 23 in Bellflower in Woyjeck’s honor.
Woyjeck is survived by his parents, his brother Bobby and his sister Maddy.
