2 Dead, 1 Injured in Glassell Park Drive-by Shooting
LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Two men were killed and another person was wounded in a drive-by shooting early Saturday in Glassell Park, authorities said.
Shots rang out about 3:35 a.m. near the intersection of Cypress Avenue and Future Street, where two persons in one vehicle fired a gun into another vehicle carrying the three victims, Los Angeles police said.
Two men were killed; it was not immediately known whether they died at the scene or at a hospital. The third occupant suffered minor injuries.
Immediately following the shooting, the victims’ vehicle continued to roll for several blocks before crashing near the intersection of Eagle Rock Boulevard and Verdugo Road.
The motive for the attack was unknown.
