An influx of monsoonal moisture and instability will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms to the Los Angeles and Ventura County Mountains as well as the Antelope Valley Friday into Friday evening. Any thunderstorms that do develop will bring the potential for brief periods of heavy rain, dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, gusty winds and small hail. There could also be localized flooding under slow moving storms cells. If you come across swift moving water crossing the road, remember to “Turn around, Don’t Drown”.
