WEST LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Drivers were being warned on Thursday about an upcoming closure in the 405 construction zone on the Westside.
The northbound Sunset Boulevard off-ramp will be shut down for four months beginning August 3.

Crews planned to completely reconstruct the off-ramp.
The improvements will include lengthening the ramp, as well as creating two right-turn lanes.
In addition, exiting traffic will also be better separated from the continuing northbound traffic.
The work is part of the $1.2 billion 405 Freeway Improvement Project through the Sepulveda Pass.
