New Yorker Cover Satirizes Anthony Weiner
(KTLA) — The New Yorker is taking satire of Anthony Weiner to new heights.
“Carlos Danger,” a painting by artist John Cuneo, appears on the cover of the magazine’s newest issue. It depicts the embattled New York City mayoral candidate as a King-Kong-like figure, using a smartphone to snap a photo of the Empire State building.
“With a topic like Anthony Weiner, how can you find anything broad or funny that he hasn’t already personally breached?” Cuneo said, according to the magazine’s website.
