Police Investigate Possible Home Invasion in Hancock Park

LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Los Angeles police were investigating a possible home invasion Friday in the upscale neighborhood of Hancock Park.

Officers responded to a call about 6:30 a.m. after a man who was walking his dog in the 500 block of Highland Avenue said he heard “a loud bang,” a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman said.

About ten people were detained and could be seen in handcuffs in front of a residence, some of them sitting on the lawn.

Traffic was rerouted while Highland Avenue was temporarily closed at the scene.
