INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Three people were killed late Saturday afternoon after a passenger bus flipped over in Indianapolis, a city police spokesman said.
Two others were helicoptered to an area hospital, Officer Michael Hewitt said. Eight others were transported to local hospitals, he added.
The Indianapolis Fire Department, on its Twitter feed, said the bus was carrying Baptist teens returning from a camp.
In addition to the three killed, five passengers were trapped, according to the fire department.
