LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Actress Lea Michele on Monday broke her silence for the first time since the death of her boyfriend and “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith.
Michele, 26, took to Twitter to thank fans for their support.
“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart,” she wrote.
She also posted a picture of the couple together.
Monteith, 31, was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada on July 13.
A coroner later determined that the actor died from a mixed drug toxicity that included heroin and alcohol.
Monteith had been open about his struggles with addiction.
Michele stuck by his side when he voluntarily checked into rehab earlier this year.
